From 13th to 17th March, the Primary Section held an English Week Activity, during which different English teaching activities were carried out in lower, intermediate and senior grades with the theme of ‘Happy English’.
To start with, the English week activities of the lower grade group are English chorus demonstration and foreign teachers' activities. Specifically, in the process of performing the songs, the children enhanced their confidence and felt the fun of English learning in the interaction with foreign teachers. Additionally, the English week activity of the intermediate grade group is word competition, during which the players of each class were preoccupied and actively participated, striving to win honor for their respective classes. Last but not the least, the senior grade group's English week activity is an English song contest. Moreover, the singers prepared actively before the competition, whose confident and generous manners and touching songs drew applause from the judges, teachers and students.
In summary, this English week activity provides a platform for students to showcase themselves. On the one hand, the students gained confidence and good memories by participating in the English week activities. On the other hand, after the activity, the English teachers made a summary of this activity, who expressed that they would continue to build an English display platform for students to help them make greater progress in English learning!
