Junior high school is not only the first critical period of life, but also an eventful period, during which children will always have problems of one kind or another, leaving parents confused and annoyed. Thus, in order to help parents solve the problems and confusion in family education, and improve the level of family education, the third lecture for parents was held at 7.30 P.M. on 24th February, 2023 in the lecture hall on the first floor of the school. The keynote speaker was Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng.
Initially, Principal Assistant Chen Peifeng started his lecture with a light-hearted video and explained to parents in vivid details the physical and mental development characteristics of adolescent children and the significance of parental education in terms of ‘parents should learn to let go and  children are capable of learning’, ‘build a harmonious family environment’, ‘teach children gratitude’, ‘let reading become a habit’, ‘don't give children too high expectations’ and other aspects. Moreover, he called on parents to be the ones who understand psychology and have educational methods so that they can strive to build a harmonious family and create a good environment for their children to grow up.
In conclusion, this parent-school lecture has not only greatly enhanced parents' attention to family education, but also has helped and guided parents to establish the correct concept of family education. Evidently, home-school parenting can help with children’s growth. Therefore, let us work together to hold up a blue sky for the children!
