In order to further reinforce the fire safety awareness of teachers and students, build the ‘firewall’ of fire safety in campus, on the morning of 15th February, our school invited the municipal fire rescue detachment to the school to carry out fire safety publicity and education activities, striving to create a good atmosphere of ‘educating a child, mobilizing a family and influencing the whole society’.
In the activity, the fire detachment publicists not only explained the basic knowledge of fire safety and some details of fire safety that should be paid attention to in detail in terms of multimedia courseware and warning educational videos combined with fire cases, but also taught the students how to report the fire alarm, how to fight the initial fire, how to escape in a fire, how to save themselves, how to put out a fire and how to evacuate in addition to a range of fire safety knowledge, including how to use a fire extinguisher.
To sum up, the fire publicity and education activities not only made the students enhance the awareness of safety and fire escape knowledge, let the students learn how to better protect themselves in the fire accident, intensified students' daily safety awareness, self-protection and self-rescue skills, but also effectively strengthened the school's safety education work.
