Since the establishment of ASFL, the school has got great achievements in teaching, the students won the first prizes of team performances in many areas, such as speech competition, aviation and navigation model competition, science and technology creation competition, etc. The teachers also have done well in many kinds of teaching competitions. There are hundreds of students and teachers won prizes in various provincial or municipal competitions. Our school is attaching importance to the researches of teaching. at present, four provincial or municipal projects have been explored. In October 2007, the project conversation management Effective Teaching Management of Junior High School English was finished by English team successfully and gains highly speaking and recognition.
